Wedding Day Guide to Success!
The big day is on it’s way and we have a guide for you and your bridal party to make sure we have a smooth and enjoyable getting ready process!
Set Up:
We will require table space for hair and makeup products, along with access to a nearby outlet for hair styling tools. The more table space available, the better!
Natural light is always preferred but we will also bring lighting.
2 chairs for you to sit in. Extra points for one tall and one short chair!
For the Bride:
Hair Prep:
Please arrive with clean, dry hair, unless a blowout was previously discussed as part of your styling plan. Avoid using heavy conditioners leading up to your wedding day. Use the hair care products we discussed during your trial to ensure the best results.
Skin Care Prep:
To ensure your makeup looks flawless, your skin should be clean, hydrated, smooth, and even. Exfoliating leading up to the wedding day is highly beneficial. Be sure to remove all makeup the night before the event. Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water, and continue your regular skincare routine, including moisturizing. Please arrive with a fresh, makeup-free face—we’ll take it from there!
Things to Avoid:
Do not undergo any injections or cosmetic procedures within 2 weeks of the wedding.
Avoid using any new products, particularly those containing active ingredients, within 2 weeks of the wedding to avoid potential skin reactions. Stick to the skincare routine that is tried and true for your skin.
What to Wear:
We understand you’ll likely be planning a comfortable and chic outfit for your wedding morning. We simply ask that you choose something that can easily be removed over your head! Avoid clothing with tight necklines, as it may be difficult to take off once your look is complete. We recommend button-up shirts or robes, preferably with a low neckline for ease.

Bring your inspo!
Be sure to bring your hair and makeup inspiration photos! Choose images of people with similar skin tones and hair textures to ensure the look will complement everyone’s natural features.

Avoid anything with a tight neckline that will be difficult to remove once your look is finished. We recommend button-up shirts or robes for comfort and ease.
